2012 Goals // October and November Update

Eeeps! I totally forgot to do an October goals update blog post so I've combined October and November together. Next year, I am definitely going to do quarterly updates instead... it was getting difficult/tedious to keep up with monthly updates.

1. Photo-a-day project of hubby and me.
- I missed one day in October and one day in November.
- 97%.

2. 100 day 1 year thrifting challenge.
- I cheated a little bit in October and November... I bought a little bunny bag from ASOS and a few things from the Maison Martin Margiela sale at H&M. I haven't been thrifting at all!
- 50%.

3. Savings goal + rewards!
- I'm at around 67% as of November.

4. One new beauty product per month. 2 month beauty ban.
- My 2 month beauty ban was completed in September & October. I went crazy in November though so more bans will be in my future.
- 75%.

5. Drink one litre of water per day.
- I'm being very very bad with water.
- 0%

6. Figure out the mess that is my hair.
- I didn't learn any new styles in the month of October and November but I filmed a whole bunch of review/demonstration videos of the Nume 4 Play set. I still have to film an overview/intro so these videos probably won't be posted until late December or the new year.
- 75%.

7. Decorate, de-clutter & re-organize.
- We are getting our closets re-done this Friday!! We hired California Closets to design and install our new bedroom and hall closet so we've emptied them both out. I'm literally sitting in a huge mess right now! The closets are costing us a pretty penny so I'm hoping it will all be worth it.
- 80%.

8. Keep a better record of events.
- 100%.

Just one more month of updates! It will actually be a year-in-review type post. I am also hoping to record a video about how to set goals. :)

    1. lose weight/get in shape is a great goal!!! i instead focussed on organization but maybe 2013 will be the year that i develop healthy fitness & nutrition habits again. i wish i had done a little better this year but i guess a little progress is better than nothing!

  2. LOL, I guess I was a bad influence on your thrifting challenge! Seriously though, you did a great job and I cannot believe how disciplined how you are. I've tried setting goals like that for myself but I never get there and it sets me up for a lot of guilt. Thanks so much for the blog shout-out - that really made my day!
    cheers,

  3. I cannot believe you stuck to your beauty ban for two whole months! I think that's amazing!

    1. thanks! it actually wasn't that hard but i think it's because i went so crazy before those 2 months that i feel i needed a break. towards the end of the ban though, i was starting to feel a tiny urge to buy. :)
