Sorta Sad, Sorta Glad

i dropped my expression bronzing brush the other day and it broke in two. i was sad at first and contemplated gluing it back together. then i remembered how i wished the brush could stand up on its own... and now it can. hooray for my clumsiness!

I agree, short bronzer brushes are so much easier to use!

  3. Lol! So I guess it isnt such a bad thing if this happens to me. Do you have a certain method/product you use to clean your brushes?

    1. i highly recommend breaking your brush haha. i use a few different methods to clean my brushes...

      1) spot cleaning with wet ones wipes.
      2) a little deeper then spot cleaning with the beauty so clean conditioning brush cleanser.
      3) less frequently, i use a mix of antibacterial dishwashing liquid and olive oil to do a deeper cleaning - i think michelle phan had a tutorial on this. basically put some soap and a little bit of olive oil onto a plate, swirl your brushes around, and then rinse very well. it's more time consuming but leaves my brushes very clean and soft.

      hope that helps! :)

    1. i got an expression kabuki brush in another topbox and it was too rough for my face so i use it for my dry shampoo. i'm so glad this brush is soft enough and now it's "kabuki-sized" :)
